Why We Believe in Transparent Garage Door Pricing
My name is Jon Jacobs, and I’m the owner of Eastside Garage Door. Over the years, I’ve learned that most frustration homeowners feel around garage door repairs doesn’t come from the repair itself — it comes from uncertainty.
Too often, people call for service without knowing what anything might cost. They’re worried the price will change mid-job, or that they’ll feel pressured into work they didn’t plan for. That’s not how I believe a service business should operate.
We believe in clear, upfront pricing so you know what to expect before work begins. For the most common residential garage door repairs and installations, we use flat-rate pricing. That means the price is established up front — not guessed, padded, or adjusted after the work is done.
If a repair or installation falls outside of those standard prices, we’ll always explain why. We’ll walk you through what we’re seeing, what’s required to fix it correctly, and provide a clear estimate before any additional work is performed. No surprises. No pressure.
Garage doors are heavy mechanical systems under constant tension. When something starts to wear out, fixing it correctly matters — and so does trusting the person doing the work. Transparent pricing is part of how we earn that trust.
Our goal isn’t to be the cheapest option. It’s to be clear, fair, and consistent — so homeowners can make informed decisions without feeling rushed or uneasy.
